We were at Clay Pigeon for Club Round 1 at the weekend where my son was racing. Sunday was constant rain and 50 mph winds. My son said he couldn't see half the time when you hit some of the puddles and with the spay so he ended up braking on memory and turning in corners blind.

It ended up getting called off after heat 2.

Off to Forsest Edge tomorrow for practice for what looks like more of the same weather wise.

Don't think we have ever raced clay and it be dry!!

Epic pics from Paul ay? Looks like you needed a boat, not a kart! o_O

Was worst conditions his driven in
It did look horrendous! Off topic slightly, what do you guys do for airbox in the wet like that? I notice they seem to take water in via the front where the to parts of the box meet?

I was thinking another airbox to hand as a wet airbox. Oiled filter and maybe tape or grease the joint between the two halves?

Makes sense mate. Defo will invest in another box, so I can swap it indefinitely, then dry it when I get a chance in-between. Thank you!

Think the hardest thing is keeping the driver dry!... yet to find a way suit that does its job... james was soaked 3 layers in 1 session
