Guys, are all tyres the same size on prokarts? Im wanting a spare set or two as one of the karts seems to be loosing pressure on a front and back wheel.

Some hubs as well so we can be a bit more prepared and avoid going home early.

The pic shows whats on the black one. Its quite frustrating not knowing makes/manufacturers etc.

If you're running prokarts then a lot of places run the Bridgestone YDS for Endurance. If they're doing sprint racing then they may run something a bit softer

Rear - 7.0 / 11.0 - 5

Front - 4.5 / 10.0 - 5

What pressures do people recommend?

Ah, now there's a question. Very much dependent on the chassis, setup and also whether you're sprint racing or doing Endurance

One of them is a Patron Knight chassis, the other unknown at the moment.

Going to be used for general track blatting not serious competition. Just want to have fun.

I would start at 20psi all round. Then adjust dependent on how long the grip takes to come in, or whether it's chewing up the tyres.

(That's not taking into account front width, rear width, castor angles etc....)

Lee on point as always! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘

Also worth a mention, check the tyre manufacture websites, as sometimes they will list the operating pressure.

For example if the operating pressure is 14 - 16 psi then maybe try 12psi, go on track, come off and check the pressure. 3psi rise upto 15psi? Good to go! If it's low, go up 1psi. If it's high go down 1psi.

That's an example for Rotax. But as Lee said, different tyres and classes etc etc all different pressures.
