hi

i was wondering if apart from gx-uk there were any other series that i could run a kart preferably with some sort of 4 stroke engine unfortunatly i cant make the summer rounds of gx-uk and was wondering if there where any similer series. im relitivly new to karting and was looking for somthing which does not require to much money to get into and a engine which does not require loads of matenence/rebuilds.

thanks

Hi, I race in FP4K. Definitely check the club out around the same cost as GX-UK but with 4 stroke engines producing 14 hp.

thank you so much exactly what i was looking for, how much did it cost you to get up and running with this series, and what are the annual/re occouring costs.

If you already have a kart then all you will need is the below :

Engine - New £1100 used between £300 - £700 depending on age e.g
slicks we use duros - a set £100 new will easily last a season some people use them for multiple
Wets we use Maxiss SLW - £120 new

FP4K Membership is £45
Msuk licence is like £60 i think

a full race weekend changes between track but normaly around £130 for the Saturday practice and Sunday race day .

A full season racing can easily be done for £1800

this is there website : https://fp4karting.co.uk/ ( Fp4 Karting )
