News The 2025 IAME Waterswift Cup Debuts at Wera Tools British Kart Championships

"We are excited to announce the launch of the IAME Waterswift Cup, a brand-new addition to the Wera Tools British Kart Championships for 2025.

This inaugural championship introduces an exciting opportunity for young drivers, specifically designed for those with an Interclub Licence and in the year of their 8th birthday*,specifically designed for young drivers transitioning from the Bambino classes into the highly competitive Waterswift (WSR) Class.

The 2025 season will see drivers compete over nine rounds, featuring a combination of single and double-header events at the UK’s top karting tracks. The **winner will receive a coveted ticket to the 2025 IWF. As with all IAME BKC events, the Waterswift Cup will feature the full British Kart Championship infrastructure, including on-track CCTV, control fuel, live streaming by Alpha Live, dedicated race control, and technical checks. Strict tyre usage limits will also apply at events, ensuring a high level of competition and fairness.



2025 IAME Waterswift Cup Calendar:

IAME British O Plate: 28-30 March – Whilton Mill

Rounds 1 & 2: 18-20 April – Warden Law

Rounds 3 & 4: 13-15 June – GYG

Rounds 5 & 6: 11-13 July – PFI

Round 7: 8-10 August – Kimbolton

Rounds 8 & 9: 5-7 September – Whilton Mill

*Drivers in the year of their 8th birthday must have previous Bambino experience.

**Winners must be eligible for IWF Events
