General Rotax max junior or senior

I know my daughter is late to the game in this but she is obsessed with motorsports, doing gcses currently and wanting to go on to do mechanics when completed. Anyway she really wants to get into go kart racing, she's currently only got experience in rental karts and is doing well in those but she wants to progress on to racing. Myself and husband are learning all we can (my husband has a mechanics background but we are complete newbies in the karting world) and are currently working on sourcing a kart for her to get started. The question is (sorry I'll get there eventually) is will she be going into rotax junior max or rotax senior max. We thought it would be senior but she is 15 and will turn 16 in May 2025 and I've seen now that junior max is 13-17, so would she be able to do junior for a while and when would she have to move to senior? She's small, only 5ft and slim build. We also can't really afford to get a kart now and then have to change it all pretty quick if she had to change classes soon.
