Hi all.

This has happened after about 8 laps. Pulling about 14k down the straight, braking hard, hitting the apex then applying throttle and it's cutting/bogging out!
I'm thinking it will be the float height that might be the problem as after a few moments where there is no acceleration there is power again for the rest of the lap! Would I be thinking correct!?!?!?

Have you checked power valve? Making sure it is opening and closing when itโ€™s suppose to? Could be stuck open at lower revs. Had the same issue, i replaced the bellow and cleaned it all up (was rotten) it resolved the issue for myself.

Low fuel... fuel not picking up? Is it only turning 1 direction?

I had similar, changed all my fuel lines and over the course of a week sitting in the workshop the brass pickup stretched the fuel line ever so slightly so it hit the bottom of the tank and was getting stuck

Well worth checking fuel system end to end. Power valve and carb. For float height you can use this tool to check, however always best left set where your engine builder has set it or contact them if unsure. This tool will make sure you are in the legal limits and set pretty correct thought.

These will help you along your way:
