Hi people.
Any ideas for front and rear sprocket guides for Honda Cadet gx160 for red lodge.
As we are going down in a few weeks so and would like an idea.
We normally run 19t/75
Thanks ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

We used to run the same as Rye, 19/77 (20/81).

Dont 20-81 seem a little high?
As some ppl said down there 20-76?
Want so good pick up but no loose to much down the straights they have?

Your driver might vary. I know others were similar to us, running same as Rye or maybe 1-2 tooth smaller. You may get 1000 different answers on the topic, all I can suggest is a starting point and see how your driver gets on.

Thanks for your help.
We tried a 20/74 yesterday and found ppl was gaining on us after corner exit then we would pick up speed.

Ah we were there yesterday too! In Mini Max. A friend was in 200 Honda. It sounds like you'll want to go slightly bigger on the sprocket, maybe try splitting difference with 20/77 or 78?

Thanks.
Yeah it was our first time there yesterday we was kart 19 riley murthwaite.
Had a bit of a rubbish 3 heats but came alive in the final managed to come 8th out the 14 cadets.
But just struggling where to start as it hard to get a practice day down there?

The Cadet Grid there isn't an easy grid. We know a few of them from Rye House, and last year my lad did OK in it. The Clubman side is great and offers a real opportunity for the younger ones.

There is a practice day there on the 13th I think it is (book via Alpha). Would be worth doing if viable for you, but yeah testing is not as frequent (think there are 6 days in the year from memory)
