Good evening,

Couple of questions, we are running an LN Kart with Mini Max engine. Our first race is this weekend at Bayford. Is the gearing for Bayford on the full size mini still 12/85? (11 in the wet).

Also, on wheels. We are going to need more than the one set we currently have - original OTK dry, Jet for wets. Other than buying very pricey OTK wheels, are there any other options in terms of brands etc? If so, what sizes? I think dry is 210/130 (will get tape measure to confirm), are wets 180/130?

I appreciate that the OTK rims might be the best, but at Β£250 for AXP's and Β£350 for MXJ's I would prefer something cheaper (yes, I am watching the For Sales for cheaper options)

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply!

Gearing I'm not sure tbf. But in general find your dry gearing and throw an 11 tooth on in the wet, quick easy change.

Wet rims we use the Jet brand ally wheels and 120/180 if I remember. I think they are about Β£120 a set? Dry rims OTK MXJ half mags. You can find a few sets on facebook etc for cheap new. Douglas also get used quite a bit for good mag rims I believe.
