Hi All,

We discovered we have scraped a hole on the nosecone.

I have had a look through the Gold Book but can't see anything specific to know if it's allowed in certain areas etc (i.e. just trying to work out how legal/illegal it is). Ours has worn through in the second half of the back on one side.

I found Next have a second hand one on eBay but can see (smaller than ours) a hole in the bottom of it so not sure we can even use that

Anyone have an M10 nosecone for OTK available? Bonus points if it's got LN stickers on it.

Scrutineers will normally make you put tape over any nosecone or bumper damage

no holes in nosecones, if it's MSUK you'll need to replace the nose.

Yep no holes allowed in bodywork.

I think Lee at Nextkarting had a few 2nd hand stickered nose cones for sale on eBay.

If you are referring to puncher holes in the back? On the bolts which hold the pedals on, bit a bit of fuel line. It helps stop the bolt poking a hole in the nose.

I bought a new nosecone from Next Karting in the end. Also, before the event was scrutinised with it on (practice day before race day) and not mentioned, showed it to the scruitineer and they were OK with it as it was in the middle not the edge where it would 'give' before a drop occurred. Will keep eye on it and at least can change it if someone isn't happy.
