Hi all,

I have done some searching and found good advice already. We are also probably going to go to Kartmania in December as they have a 'Starting Karting' session and hopefully some people around who's brains I can pick. I have a 5 year old who is nearly 6 and very interested in getting started. He has never yet been in a Kart but has ridden quads/electric cars/hoverboard with a seat on it and is very proficient at not only driving but repairing his RC buggies. We are in Dinnington (near Worksop) so I believe PFI at Newark is one of the best known somewhat local track. Has anyone been to it? I can't seem to find out if they do any Bambino trail days to get my little one in a kart before buying one. Obviously getting into the 2023 championship is not likely to happen but having a year or so of getting to grips with how to drive one before potentially getting into the 2024 season sounds like a good idea to me. Would that give him 1 or 2 years in bambino karting before changing everything for cadet carting?

Should I be looking at the Comer C50 series or the Iame m1 series?

Any advice is much appreciated.
