As part of its continued efforts to streamline the complex procedures arising as a result of COVID-19 measures, Motorsport UK has updated its Exemption Letter application process for those members of its community participating in events on the FIA International Sporting Calendar.

The revised process has been developed following clarification by the DCMS (Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) interpretations and provides greater clarity as to who is eligible for an exemption letter, as well as the various options available depending on the category of licence and the lead time for the application.

The application process is quick and easy, enabling holders of an International Competition or Entrants Licence, or motorsport organisations whose staff earn a living from working in the sport, to consult a flow chart in order to determine eligibility for an exemption, or the need to self-isolate upon their return from overseas competition.

Find out more by visiting the Motorsport UK Exemption Letter section of the Motorsport UK website.
