For the second year in succession, we are pleased to work in conjunction with the Motorsport UK British Kart Championships, as the Micro MAX Grand Finals qualifier will take place at Clay Pigeon Raceway between October 16th and 20th, 2020.
The winner and the runner-up of the event itself in Dorchester will then secure the prized tickets to race at the forthcoming Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals at Kartodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao, Portugal, between January 23rd and 30th next year.
360 drivers headed to Sarno late last October to compete in an event that showcases talent and parity above all, with all drivers running with the same type of equipment over a week of hard-fought and close-quarter competition, batting for the title of Grand Finals Champion of the World.
After the inaugural qualifier at Forest Edge last year, privateer Macauley Bishop would go on to hit the runner-up step in Italy in just his second international event, battling with the best 35 other Micro Max drivers from across the globe.
Along with the two Grand Finals tickets, the top three-placed drivers will keep the engines provided by us to use to race at Clay Pigeon, and we will be converting them to Mini MAX specification at no additional cost.
Along with the engine, we will also provide the relevant race oil, as well as being on hand all weekend to help with any technical questions or installation queries.
Entry to the event costs £475.00*. Entry includes your event submission, one set of slick tyres and one set of wet tyres.
