Hi & thanks for clicking on this post.
I'm 16 and started driving karts when I was 6 and since have been obsessed with racing and winning.

I work hard at ensuring that I and my equipment are in the best condition and I use what I have available to the best of

my ability to maximise my potential. To date I have won multiple championships including National Titles and will keep working to realise my goals.

Currently I race in the UK in the X30 Senior class with Jack Dex Racing and I am focusing on achieving my next goal which is to win UK & European kart series with my long-term goal being to drive professionally.

So, I don’t want to go all negative but it would be nice to have a bit of luck, just once…….
Round 3 of UKC at GYG north wales last weekend and looking to get things back on track….

Tough day testing on Friday as not been here since 2016 when I was in a Honda cadet so not much of a baseline to work.from, at least I knew the way around the track though.
Ended up in the Podium ballpark but still a bit to find to challenge for the win.

Saturday and two tests the Heat 1. Same story in the tests really but new tyres to come which would help.

Heat 1 P23 to P10 13 places which was OK but really hoping for a few more

Heat 2 P12 to P11 1 Place despite making 8 overtakes so loads of work to do but the pace was looking better. Did have a seat issue after lap 1 though.lol, sorted immediately by @j_dex JDR though.

Heat 3....well if things were not going to plan this is where the train to destination f*cked slipped in to overdrive. We were drawn in the first 3 of 5 heats and had a bunch of changes to make between Heat 2 and 3 and for the first time ever. 10ish years, we missed the grid so a DNS which is a major hit. Big apologies to Jack Dex, JDR and all that support me, this will never happen again.

This put me P14 for the super heat, which I wish they'd change to prefinal rather than just another heat with a couple more points for places etc.

So P14 to P4 10 place gain so looked like we were dialling in nicely and looking like we were as good as we could be for the super final.

Superfinal I'd start from P21, see why I'd prefer the prefinal setup, would be a worst case row 4 start but in this configuration it was row 11.

P21 start to P9 12 place gain on track and coming very strong at the drivers in front. Unfortunately I had a 5s penalty which dropped me in the results.

Got my exams over the next couple of months so not sure hiw much I'll be out but I'm booking up my summer coaching schedule if anyone is looking for some help drop me a line.

Giving a little back yesterday and took my sister to where I started, Tattershall Kart Circuut so she could have a run out.
Luckily we still have some of my old kit so a nice cheap day in the sun.....

I think she had a great time and for the 1st time ever, she listened to me and improved massively through the day, well done Freya, you did really well.....especially as you did nearly 3 hours in the seat and no moaning or getting tired.

Big thanks to TKC's Pete for being so friendly and supportive as you've always been since I met you 10 years ago and a great track.
