Hi,

If you've no experience at all of karting, the usual advice is to try an indoor rental circuit to see if you enjoy it. That's much cheaper than buying a kart, racewear, fees and licences.

If you're within travelling distance of a TeamSport Karting location, most of them do a weekly cadet/junior academy where they will teach you a bit about driving and racecraft. Once you've qualified for the advanced group there, many of their locations have weekly junior racing on a Monday evening. You use their karts and can use their helmets and overalls.

Depending on your region, some outdoor circuits have similar arrangements, usually around 3-4 times more expensive, but the tracks tend to be bigger, and the karts maybe a bit faster.

Good luck!
