Hi,
I have been looking in the MSUK rules and can’t find anything about it.
I want to check the rules about what kind of air filters we can used in the Honda GX200 class.
I think there’s a rule about the base being cracked but I’m also now aware that some filters can have the zig zag paper inside them removed just leaving the foam exterior. They all come with this paper part inside but are then ripped out. This is obviously to improve air flow, however I don’t want to follow the crowd to find out in scrutineering that it’s not allowed.
Any help would be grateful please.

Speak to an engine tunernand see what they suggest. I'd speak to Roger at RPM or reach out to UFO if he's still around as they will guide you correctly.

We just used to run standard and clean it out regularly

Did you ever find an answer to this? I was wondering the same - looked at the two engines we have here, engines are from different suppliers, both filters supplied with the engines have just the outer foam part, not the inner paper.
