Restoring a 2002 solo kart and Rotax engine.
Have rebuilt carb with new float needle and seat, all new jets etc. Mikuni pump also overhauled and working well.
Problem is the carb floods the engine so I cannot get it to run right - it's as if the float needle is not sealing off and the pump is forcing excess fuel into the bowl. With Airbox off, you can see fuel pumping out of the very bottom air orifice of the carb inlet mouth.
Have rechecked everything and set float arms to the 3mm level specified.
Anyone any ideas?
Pete
