Hi.
Which is better the max torque clutch or the standard Magnum ones. And how to get the best out of them.
Thanks ppl 🤛🤛

Never used a max torque clutch, but have seen one from someone else using and the wear was uneven. You could see on the shoes and drum where it was engaging but was only on about 50% of the surface area of the drum. We’re still new to it but sticking with Magnum for now.

We use a max clutch and we find its smoother.
But would like to hear other peoples opinions on it.
We used to use magnum but was always clanking and the bell sound.
Also got told they are better?

Depends what engagement setting you have the magnum set to, but never found it Clanky. The ‘bell’ sound is just a bit of play side to side on the output shaft. It can be taken up with a spacer but you want a little bit of play to counter heat expansion. Only happens at idle when the drums not engaged though.
