Hi all,
I'm new to karting & have recently bought a collection of karting spares from an auction. Can anyone tell me what these uprights are for? They definitely aren't standard kart parts. They came with Grimeca brakes & a bias peddle assembly so I'm guessing they are from a high performance kart of some sort.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Oh that could be right up the street of @d-i-y82

Looks like they are off of some kind of superkart perhaps?

Best guess is F1 gearbox kart originally built by Andy Martin but now in the hands of Chris Purdie racing.
They certainly used this style of upright and Grimeca brakes which aren't that common.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply. I've had a look at Chris Purdie's website and I think you are correct. The uprights certainly look the same as do other parts that came with them. I'll contact Chris directly for a chat.
Regards,
Stephen
