"Senior X30 racer Harry Burgoyne Jnr has been named the Wera Tools Driver of the Day from Event 9 of the 2023 British Kart Championships, at Rowrah.
Burgoyne Jnr was nominated by the panel of judges, along with a driver from each of the remaining classes thanks to their on-track performance, sporting act or overcoming adversity. Each karter was in line to scoop the coveted Wera Tools Trophy and Wera Tools prizes, whilst Motorsport UK will supplement the prize with a free test day at a BKC venue in 2023 or 2024. The winner was decided by a public online poll.
The judges nominated the young karter at the weekend due to “gaining 10 points in Heat 1, 11 positions in Heat 2, 2nd in Pre-final, and won final.”
He will be presented with his trophy at the British Karting Awards presentation in November.
