Slightly disappointed that there's potentially 3 different tyres for 3 clubs all local to eachother... shame these clubs can't work together for the better of the sport. Also the nose cone drop system being dropped...4k worth of kit in the hands of the guy behind! All very well saying it will be policed and be run strictly..but that's after the damage is potentially done...again 3 clubs local with different rules. Shame
Can agree with that all clubs should use the same tyres. They should make it cost effective for everyone.

It's frustrating... southeast has 3 tracks within a hr of eachother..not many areas can say that... just means more testing more expense.

I some what agree with you. However, I think each club should/will put their own mark on what they want to do, which is also great!

Tyre wise I don't think is too much of a big deal, I mean you wouldn't race at Buckmore on your Bayford race tyres anyways, as you wouldn't want to put the laps on them due to tyre restrictions at Bayford. I do however like the tyre restriction rule at Bayford, it stops people throwing money at tyres each meeting. But yeah, I guess more testing....more rims....etc.

This year has been so up and down I think it's great we now have 3 well run clubs to race at in the south if we choose too. Then after this year, who knows what the future will bring!

Always gota be positive imo! 🏁 😁

Getting old mate I reckon :giggle:

Did you not wear your rib protector? And what did you break now?

Good to hear about the tyres! I sounds like they was accepted by most, great!

Yeah course had to swap to a p1 rib tech though, the bengio didn't like me any more.
Honestly I think they are TOO grippy don't think we should run them tbh

My Sparco one has seen better days soon tbh, P1 seems the way forward.

Ahh really? I guess it will boil down to the majority vote and Jay / @F100 will go from there.

The Sports is the only tyre I have used since being back in the seat. I think we were on Dunlop's or Vega's back in the day. So I'm excited to give the Greens a go tbh :giggle:

Most of us 177 felt the pain on our body... not saying they are a bad tyre, they are definitely good for times! But physically demanding!

Maybe the track too? Never driven Buckmore tbh so can't compare it to Bayford or other places. Looks like there is a fair amount of high speed corners at Buckmore?
