Glad you're booked in, I've got to see how work goes before then.

I see you've got your licence back, have to put it to good use now!!

Cheers fella! Only booked the test day, not booked for the race meeting tbh. Maybe the next one! Be good to see you there at some point 😁

I still need to get myself a transponder then I'm set I think :) (y)

Good day on Sunday gents?

I kept an eye on the live feed, weather looked shocking!:eek:

I've never driven in conditions as bad as that in 20 years!! Had a bloody great smile on my face though.
1st heat - Took a gamble on slicks as I saw a dry line coming through...They were the right choice for the first 5 laps then the heavens opened, just about managed to creep to the end.
2nd Heat - Everyone was on wets and wasn't really paying attention to the track...By turn 1 realised the track was dry...Slicks were the tyres to be on so missed a MASSIVE chance, I come in after 3 laps as I was ripping the tyres apart.
Final - Wets were the only tyre needed for that one!! Was absolutely pouring down...Had a descent start and kept with the pack for a lap of so. Andy Parish and Dennis Trzeciak has a coming together in front of me so managed to make my way through that before I had a moment myself through the lake that formed at the beginning of the main straight to let them back through. After that I had a great race with Dennis and passed him with a great move into turn 2. Finished P5 so was quite happy with that.

Taking the next race day off as its Fathers Day...Although I'd rather be racing. Going to do 2 test days instead. Give me some time to upgrade the brakes to BSD caliper, picking that up next week and having the carb bead blasted and rebuilt. I'll have a look at the diary and see if we can book the same day?

Wicked stuff! Saturday was a challange, Sunday must of been even more so! I need loads more testing in the wet. But like I said to Billy, I don't like getting wet .

Yes for sure! I think @Billywatts is up for a play day at Bayford soon too. Maybe have a meet up and see if any of the other lads are up for it? I'm up for it for sure. I want to get 1 or 2 test days in before the next meeting. Hopefully anooother kilo lighter by then too ;)

Brake wise; what fluid do you want to run? I am running 5.1 in the new style brakes. I know some lads run DOT 5, the silicon stuff? If you want to run DOT5 save yourself the money, I have a brand new un opended bottle in the workshop bought out of error. It's yours if you want it! I don't want anything for it, be glad to free up the space on the shelf. I can either bring to Bayford or feel free to pick it up from my place.

This one....
