News Badge System & Being a 'Karting Guardian'

Hi everybody, small update. There will be many more over next coming weeks as things will develop and evolve I'm sure.

The new badge system is in place which displays different badges on your profile for different privileges and positions within KartingForum.co.uk. See below for an example:

Current badges in existance are;

• KartingForum.co.uk Staff (Staff Members only)
• Administrator (Me only)
• Moderator (Mods only)
• Premium (Members with Premium status and its perks)
• Trade (Members who promote their services)
• Member (Everybody who validated their profile)

And now I have added;

• Guardian

Now the guardian badge serves a purpose for those amoung us who are a 'Karting Mum or Dad' or a maybe 'Coach'. If you are here to interact with other parents, guardians or coaches helping to engage kids in the sport, select this option. You will stand out to fellow 'Karting Guardians'. I thought this might be a helpful badge for us in that position.

You can turn this badge on by going into your "Account Details", right at the bottom you will see a check box. See below:

You need Premium which unlocks after 5 posts. However....I just unlocked it early for you

Sorted! Oh you have prompted me to add "Young Driver" and "Young Driver Class" to all our profiles. Feel free to fill it out. This way it keeps us Dads karting seperate from our kids
