Does the rotax 125 max engine have a built in rev limiter or are the good to just rev out
 
No rev limiter. As a rule you don't want to see much more than 14200rpm. Depends on tracks but that's a good guide.

I could be wrong, but does the Rotax Evo not have a rev limit of 14800/14900 set by the ECU?

Lol it might!! Never ever got near that!! Highest we have seen is 14600 which was wet gearing drying track.

Yeah I reckon you'll only every get near the limit with 'extreme and optimistic' testing conditions :ROFLMAO: Apparently it is there though, somewhere!
