Anybody else looking to get the latest 3000 series of Nvidia GPU's?!

Apparently even a RTX 3070 will have 40-50% more power than a current 2080Ti? For alot less money!

So glad I have stuck with my 1080Ti over the last few years, it seems there is now a worthy upgrade path. I feel a 3080 is on the cards for me ;)

Doom at 4K Max average 100fps?!

Your 1080 will continue to ace most AMD cards out their on the market today, even the ones purchased in 2019/2020. Nvidia works very well under demand, similar to Intel, making Intel and Nvidia the ultimate setup for any gaming PC. Pay more for the quality! AMD ***** off home after a couple of minutes at maximum power.

There has been numerous outlets, which are warning people to hold off until the 4000 series. The 3000 series shows what Nvidia was able to develop in 8 months, to show AMD they have no chance of overtaking Nvidia in graphics. Nvidia will most likely keep this ethic up until they are 2-3 generations ahead of any AMD card.

I expect the 4060 to be nearing similar power to that of the 3080, with prices being similar to this generation, based on the evidence we have seen from Nvidia. We have also seen Nvidia purchases ARM today, and this will help Nvidia become a major force in AI, and enhancing chip performance. It is expected for a deal to be done between Nvidia and Microsoft at working towards an equal goal in terms of AI and Supercomputers also.

Tbf I love my 1080Ti, ยฃ700 about 4 years ago? I have only just started to turn stuff down in games. Or game at 1440p and everything max. The performance for price has been fantastic!

Nvidia really messed up with the pricing of the 20xx series imo. Butttt people still bought them, the 2080Ti was craaaazy money!! It seems the 30xx series is for sure more bang for the buck.

More details on 3rd party cards below  (y) (I've not watched it yet)
